hi folks,, i came to a decision that was not an easy one,, i want folks to enjoy the projects i have on youtube,, your welcome to watch them as many times as you like and enjoy, the patterns have become an issue for me,,, i had been selling them for 1.50 per project, by email only,, i decided, by the time paypal take a chunk out of it and the time it takes me to respond to emails,, it takes to much of my time, some folks had a hard time opening it up, in the their emails etc,, by the time i explained it it would have been easier to mail it at times,, ,, as i am moving forward, i decided to only give the pattern to those that purchase a dvd,, i reduce the dvd cost to 10.00 which is way below any other woodcarving dvd on the market,, i understand that times are tough and i decided to reduce the cost of the dvd, if you wanted to purchase one,, and plus it will have a pattern for those projects that require it, many are done from a block which does not need a pattern , thanks for your understanding of this,, ,, i dont think folks realize the amount of time and effort it is to do these projects on youtube,, your getting thousands of dollars of lessons for free over the youtube channel,, if you take a class anywhere, it costs 40-65 per project to take a class,, depending on the details on the carvings,, so please, understand,, i dont have everything on dvd, i have 38 which many of them have more than one project,, i plan to do two more dvds soon,, until i can go back and change the 1.50 statements at the beginning of each project , will take a couple of weeks,, thanks your welcome to email me , or call if you have any questions,, thanks again, arleen

hi folks all of us started woodcarving not knowing what we were doing, and finding information on what to use and what worked was not always easy, back 30 years ago, i learned from mostly books, we had no copiers, videos, computers, as we do today, but the beginner is still faced with now maybe to much info to know where to start, i am all for learning what you can, and the information for the most part is good stuff, but i decided to make a dvd just for the beginner, its the wooden shoe project, along with how to pick a knife, how to make a strop, basic knife cuts and how to use a knife, sharpening 1,2,and 3, and then new sharpening 1 and 2, i feel this video covers most of the basic information you need to start to carve, and a simple project to learn how to work with the wood, i happy with it, and also decided to make the cost of this as low as i can go, which is 15,00 why , i want folks to try it if they want to, and the only way to know if your going to enjoy this hobby is and i will ship it free to anyone in the usa and canada, ( sorry ) to try it, i wanted to make sure that anyone that wanted to try could afford to, its a video i am proud of putting together, i had fun, and most of all if some folks will start to carve and enjoy it as much as i do then it was all worth it, happy and safe carving, arleen

hi folks , i had three pocket knives that i bought , and i tried alot of the rough riders , i found one that had three blades that worked well for woodcarving, and i love the knife , all three were sold , i am trying to get more ,,, the blades i found worked the best is hard to fine, i did put in an order to the supplier and he told me two to three months before i see this one again,,, so i will keep looking for the same blades, combo ,,, i resharpen them , or you can yourself, i will keep you informed when i have more available, it take a bit to get them sharpen but once you do , its a great pocket knife to take with you if you travel, and the blade holds up great, took me a while to find the right rough rider,
